Jessica Sperber '22 Recruiting Profile

I hope to either play soccer or be on an equestrian team for college. I am a very hard worker and don't quit until I get the job done. I strive for straight A+'s and A's and have gotten them every year of middle and high school. I also take my sports and animals very seriously and put them before me. I will work every single day to make myself become the best I can be. I have played soccer since I was 3 years old. From ages 3-7 I played parks and rec soccer, then at age 8 I moved on to COSL, then at age 9 started playing for Bend FC Timbers. I have always played forward until I was 12 and my team needed a goalie for one game. I decided to play it, and haven't looked back since. From then on I would play half the game forward and half goalkeeper. When I went into high school, I have been the starting/main goalie in every single game. In my freshman year, I received All-League Honorable Mention, and in my sophomore year, I earned Second-team All-League. This year, I hope to get 1st team and Goalkeeper of the year. Soccer has been a huge part of my life and became my favorite sport the second I touched a soccer ball for the first time. I hope to continue to become even better and eventually compete at the next level in college.
