Allie Bayer '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Allie, and I have been playing soccer since I was three. I enjoy every aspect of the game, and spend my time playing club and high school soccer as well as futsal. Additionally, I enjoy watching the Premier League, Serie A, Ligue 1, and the MLS with my family, and studying how the game differs across the world. It's  especially intriguing to  me how styles of play change across regions, and with certain key players. Academically, I am pursuing an interest in political science and law. I would also like to continue studying Mandarin Chinese, and perfecting it as my second language. 

Being a part of a team is very important to me, and I strive to be a good teammate and opponent. I believe that soccer should bring people together, and that being a good teammate is just as important as being a skilled player.  As a  potential collegiate athlete, I am excited at the prospect of getting to learn from coaches and teammates who have varied and diverse experiences and perspectives on the game of soccer. I am committed to dedicating myself to being the best ambassador possible for the game, the university, and the team.
