My name is Hannah Aldrich. I am a junior at Wilsonville High School. I have been playing for our Varsity Soccer Team for the past two seasons. This year our team won the 5A State Championships. I have been playing soccer for 11 years. The last six years have been at the club level. Outside of soccer I've been playing piano for 11 years. I also have interests in literature, writing, and academics in general. I've recently published an article in our school newspaper, highlighting the importance of comradery in our girls Varsity Team and how this has helped us compete in the 5A State Championship. My goal for college is to attend a four-year university where I can pursue my academic interests in the sciences. I hope to continue my soccer career throughout my college experience and lead my collegiate team to the championship just as I did with this year's varsity team as we won the 5A State Championships. I believe I am a good candidate for your team as I am a hard worker, I am receptive to feedback, and I seek to implement feedback immediately on the field. My drive in soccer is not self serving. I value comradery amongst my teammates and seek to elevate our collective level of play. I believe I am set apart from other recruits in that I am a versatile player. I have played forward, midfield, and defense throughout my career. Academically, I am driven to succeed and hold myself to high-standards. Overall, I believe that I am a well rounded individual both academically and athletically.
