Soccer has always been my sport. When I'm not playing it, I'm waiting in anticipation for the next time I can get on the ball. All I've dreamed for is to be recruited to play college soccer. People warn that college sports take over your life, with early morning workouts and late night training sessions. Me, I say "Bring it". I dream of playing college soccer because I'm ready for that twenty-four/seven commitment with the sport. I am absolutely in love with the game and I can not wait for the day when I spend my whole day playing it. I plan to continue playing soccer as long as I possibly can.
My biggest strength is my versatility on the field. I grew up as a defender, however at my freshman year of high school tryouts my coach told me to either become a midfielder or sit the bench. So, I adapted and became comfortable with the control I had over the whole game from my spot in the middle of the field. My speed and creative runs allowed my coach to then try me at forward, where I excelled at becoming a top goal scorer. I currently flip flop between all three positions as I am aggressive on defense, calm in the midfield and sneaky at forward. No matter what position I am playing; I am always one of the most communicative and persistent players on the field.
