My main goal as of now and for when I get to college would be to find something I’m very interested in and pursue it.
As far as soccer goes I’m a team player and I know how to play with a team rather then just with myself. Through communication, effort, and passion I have for the sport I avoid making errors but I am not afraid of failure. I try to incorporate new knowledge i learn along the way to the practices and try them out when presented the right time in a game.
In comparison to my peers I train/workout everyday on my own, watch game film, and learn from my peers as to what they are doing that may improve my play as well. Along with that i always attend practice for my club and high school team with focus and drive. Practice for me is always a place to improve and prove yourself to coach’s and peers. If I was to have an off day, week, or game that’s when I focus on myself mentally and try to get back in the headspace where I need to be. Through playing a wide variety of sports over the last 17 years I have become very aware that once the confidence I had in doing something is shot it is very difficult to recover. I have in the past had a couple occurrences where my individual game play was not even half as good as I am because my confidence was not where it needed to be.
