College soccer is more to me than a dream or a hope. The level of collegiate soccer is the next highest level for an athlete like me to achieve. Being a female athlete I already face challenges that other male athletes do not face. However, I won’t let that stop me from presenting the best Emma on and off the field. I work harder than any girl on the pitch giving 110% each practice and game. I am a leader who speaks with confidence and picks up my teammates up when they have fallen and have lost confidence in themselves. I work even harder in school keeping all A’s and having practice everyday after school, sometimes twice a night. I’m my biggest critic.  I expect the best from myself and when I do make mistakes, because I do, I learn from them and only want to get better.
