My name is Josie Defibaugh, a soon to be graduate in 2025. I have been playing soccer since I was four years old and haven’t stopped since! My primary positions are Outside Midfield (left wing) and Forward/Attacking mid. I do have experience in the Defensive positioning as well. Soccer has always played a huge role in my life, as I am constantly working to improve myself as a player and to develop new skills. My time playing soccer hasn’t always been grand, as I have grown up with girls who have lost their passion for the sport overtime, but I am constantly bringing them back together to join leagues and tournaments outside of our school season. I will always put in the efforts to keep my team together and to push them to grow as players. Past and current coaches have told me that I am very easily coachable and have an uplifting influence on the field. This year, my coaches have named me as Captain of our school soccer team as well as my two other teammates! Along with my love for soccer, I have also found a love for school. From a young age, I was very advanced in my education and achieved high grades. As a student athlete, I have maintained a high GPA, as well as joined Honors Clubs including Mu Alpha Theta, Honors Society, and Art Honors Society. This year, I also involved myself in Key Club. As my high school career comes to an end, I strive to attain my goal of joining a college team as I continue to grow as a student athlete.
