Alyssa Lanigan '20 Recruiting Profile

Beginning my career at age 8, soccer has made me a better person socially, physically, and mentally. I have learned how to successfully work with others to achieve one goal and how to be a hard-working leader throughout my experiences with the game. I have been faced with many struggles, which include enduring harsh losses in the Disney showcase last year, but that has only inspired me to push my limits and be the best I can be. My commitment and dedication to becoming a better player has proven to be worthy through the EDP Easter Showcase in 2017 where we took first place.

I am looking for a challenging school that will fit my academic career and prepare me to be successful in my future, as well as in my soccer career. As a 2-year captain for my club team and a varsity player for my high school,  I have learned about responsibility, passion for the game, leadership, and cooperation, which I would use to benefit your program. I am known for using my speed and moves to beat a player and my ability to cross the ball. I feel that my skills are capable of being used in college level and could greatly impact your program!
