Giavonna Sweeney '20 Recruiting Profile

Soccer has been my life ever since my foot touched the ball at the age of seven. The game of soccer has made me who I am today. It has taught me how to be a dedicated leader on the field and off.  Soccer has taught me to never give up and to always get back on my feet. After not making the ODP team my first time trying out I couldn't have been more motivated to make it the next year. I worked my butt off and made all the top level teams in the country including ODP, ECNL, and now the DA. I am dedicated to my studies and to my faith. Faith is a big part in my life and I take pride in it. I go to church every Sunday and work with my youth group in charity events. I am looking forward to achieving my life goal of playing high level soccer and continuing my studies to enter the field of education and coaching.
