Personal Statement

My name is Stephanie Klovekorn, I am in the Class of 2019, and I have played soccer for 12 years. I played on my first club team, Stateline, for 3 years and played 1 year for Corning United in 2017. I am now on my current team, the Vestal Revolution and I have been a varsity starter at Sayre Area High School since my freshman year.

I am a physical, core player who strives to improve every day. I have a good vision of the field and make smart decisions to help my team transition successfully. I play a defensive or attacking midfielder, as well as a center back. I have always loved playing and my dream is to continue to do so at a competitive level throughout college.

I am currently a part of National Honor Society, Future Business Leaders of America, and I have participated in varsity and travel basketball for 3 years. I also recently won the YWCA Young Woman Award. My academics always come first and I work hard to maintain my GPA. I am in the Top 10% of my class and plan on achieving similar grades at a top performing university.
