Personal Statement

I've known for years now that my ultimate goal was to play soccer in college, following in my parents footsteps. For my high school team I started as a freshman, received post-season awards, and won a division two state championship. I am a three sport athlete at Chariho High School, competing in track and basketball in addition to soccer. I played for NEFC and Rhode Island Surf, being captain on both teams as well as showcasing my leadership skills in my community by frequently volunteering. I thrive academically, having a 4.4 GPA, taking multiple AP courses, and joining clubs at my school. My personal drive and passion for soccer make me want to continue to improve and find a competitive school to push me further.
