Hello and Welcome. My name is Madison Garcia and I would like to start off by saying. I appreciate you clicking on my page. I’m 17yrs old and a Senior at Alvarado High School. I am a very out going player, and I played 6 years for the BSA & 2 years for AHS. The two positions I play are right forward and midfielder.
I’m also on the Varsity Track & Field for my school. I do the 4x1, 4x2, 4x4, 100m, 200m, 400m races. I have been participating in Track & Field for 6 years.
Track has taught me many life lessons, while at the same time allowing me to meet a lot of new friends, and make many good memories. It has taught me to be a good sport, win or lose. That goes along with having a positive attitude and learning to take things as they come. I love to help my team and encourage them to do better even after a tough meet.
I grew the most as a student-athlete my Sophomore year. In August of 2016. I received a concussion in soccer practice. I went to school for half-days for almost a month. This experience helped me grow as a person and lead me to focus on my own efforts on keeping up my grades in all my AP classes, and working hard to getting back onto the soccer field and helping my teammates.
I take all AP classes and aspire to be a Quantum Physicist and do great things after college.
I have learned the value of teamwork, commitment, & sacrifice this year. I’m looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically.
I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, work-ethic, and leadership skills to make an impact on your program. I look forward to hearing from you.
Respectfully,
Madison Garcia
