2018 Highlights
2017 Highlights Growing up in a small community sports have always been a priority for any kid. However, instead of choosing the more popular sports such as volleyball and basketball I was always amazed by the game of soccer. As a child, I always loved watching my older brother play, and I wanted to follow in his footsteps. Immediately, I fell in love with the game and was mesmerized with the high intensity. After beginning to play, I learned that I love competition, and challenges. Because of my small stature, I often have to mark towering opponents, but this always excites me, because of the challenge.
Throughout playing soccer I have been on numerous teams and played with many different kinds of players. Each team I have played with has had many differences, but one common similarity; sacrifice. I have always believed that you have to give up things for the things you love, and I willing to do anything for the better of my team, because my team is my family. Throughout the long training sessions and countless road trips, a team spends just as much time together as a family does, but also have the relationship of competing together for one goal.
In school I am currently top 10% of my junior class with a 4.0 GPA, and I hope to graduate in the top 5%. I have never made a grade below a 90 for semesters, and I hope to continue this throughout my senior year. After graduating I plan to major in engineering or chemistry, and to maintain a 3.5 GPA. Although my goals are excessively high, school is my highest priority, other than my faith. My faith has taught me that all things are possible with Christ, no matter what my future holds.
