Hello. I just wanted to introduce myself. I was born in London, England. I am a dual citizen in the USA / UK. I am thrilled to have to opportunity to represent Westlake High School as the goalie on our Varsity team. I have enjoyed my time being part of the team working toward a common goal. Each position represents an important part of the whole. In my younger years I started out in softball as a pitcher but as I grew older my passion changed direction towards soccer. I previously played with FC Westlake for a number of years in various field positions, typically center midfielder. In 8th grade while playing volleyball an ankle injury revealed a birth defect in my tibia. My bone was hollow. I had to undergo surgery to repair the defect and learn to walk again. Needless to say my athletic pursuits were temporarily sidelined for 8months. I learned a lot in that process and my determination to return to the field and play soccer again pushed me forward through the challenges I faced.
I am not only determined in the goal but determined academically as well. I take pride in my grades and was recently invited to join NHS. I work hard to maintain excellence on the field as well as in the classroom. I hope to become an Electrophysiologist and study the heart. In my spare time I volunteer at my church and help in the children's ministry along with starting a sports medicine club. My faith is an important part of my life and I know that with hard work and determination I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
