Raina Medina '21 Recruiting Profile

I grew up playing sports with my twin brother, and grew a strong love for soccer and volleyball. I had to give it up in high school for academics, but I'm extremely excited for the chance to play in college. I'm a very compassionate and competitive person, and love working in a team. I believe that I am a great candidate for any team because I am a flexible and open-minded individual. I've been told I'm a good listener, cooperative, and an amazing team player, and have what it takes to lead and be apart of a team. I have had leading experience from being in marching band, and it has taught me great discipline and working on self-assessment to make myself better for the good of the team. I also find myself to be an optimistic and persevering character,  and enjoy working hard to become the best that I can be, in the classroom and on the field.
