I grew up playing as many sports as I could.  This helped grow my athletic ability and passion for competitive sports; but soccer was really the only one that stuck with me.  As a little girl it was just about kicking a ball down the field which made me smile and got me an ice cream after the game.  As I grew up the smile never left my face.  I have always loved the game of soccer.  In the past year I have realized the opportunity I have to continue playing the sport I love in college.  My dedication and intensity has grown.  I am working hard to achieve my dream of playing college soccer.  My love and determination are things that I hope others recognize in me; on the field and off.  I hope to continue developing as a person and a player through this sport for many more years.
