Kayla Smith '21 Recruiting Profile

Throughout my life, academics have always been my first priority. I plan to major in nursing or medicine to eventually work in pediatrics. Being a student athlete, I am capable of maintaining high grades while also playing club and high school soccer. My level of responsibility is very high considering that I have to manage my schedule with club and high school soccer, as well as keep up with all of my assignments in my honors and AP classes. I’m a dedicated player, who will do anything to help my team as much as possible. Although I’m an outside defender, I bring lots to the attacking aspect of my games. My speed, decision making, and ability to accurately place a cross increases the success of my team defensively and offensively. My hope is to further my academics to accomplish my dream goal, while also getting the chance to continue playing the sport I love.
