I have always been heavily involved in athletics, traveling to soccer practice, basketball practice, volleyball practice, etc. It wasn't until I began my high school career when I truly realized I longed to play collegiate soccer. This longing allowed me to make the decision of ending my participation in other sports and to focus on soccer. The thought of playing collegiate soccer has always brought me joy. The bonds , relationships, and camaraderie that are built between the teammates and the coaching staff seem to last a lifetime. I know everyone dreams of the best opportunity possible which in many cases seems to be division one soccer, but I do understand that every player will find their perfect niche and it may not be at a division one college. I believe that collegiate soccer is still an amazing opportunity to play and to be coached at the next level, and that is what I aspire to accomplish.
I am a very versatile player as I can play all defending positions left, right or mid. I am right or left footed. I have the ability to see the full field and recognize where to best place the ball to move it forward. I am also played as a back up goalkeeper when needed. When the forwards need to rest I play in their positions until they are ready to come back into the game. I have no problem playing the entire 90 minute game.
When I dedicate myself to a sport or program, I perform everything to my highest capabilities. As a member of a team, I give complete respect to the coaching staff, I know how to act responsibly all while having fun. I am also extremely dedicated to my academics, which is my main focus for college. Playing collegiate soccer is a major goal of mine, but I also know my post-secondary education is the ultimate priority. If you give me a chance in your program, I will dedicate myself and give my all in all aspects of life.
