My college goals and aspirations are to play Varsity Women's Soccer. I understand that playing time is earned and I am willing to work hard to earn my place on the team and the field. I think I am a good candidate for many reasons. I know how to keep my team focused during a game, especially when some have trouble controlling their temper and begin to talk back to either the referee or coach. I am also constantly motivated to play, I understand the importance of conditioning and healthy habits, and I am able to balance my academic life with my sport. I am different from other candidates due to my internal drive, I never give up on a game no matter the direction it goes. I am determined and tenacious, and am able to think fast on my feet to accomplish my goal during a game or practice. My academics push me to manage my time between soccer and school, pushing me to keep up my grades and allowing me to accomplish my goals on and off the field. As a player, I differ from others in my versatility. I can play any defensive position from center back to left or right wing, as well as left or right midfield and forward. My character, athleticism, and academia are three facets that incorporate many talents that I continually hone to be the person I am and the ability to achieve my goals throughout life.
