Words I use to define myself are motivated, hard-working, passionate. My passion for soccer began at age five, when I started playing on a team, and my love for the game grew as I joined my first club team at age nine. By my second year of club soccer, playing at the college level was my goal. I became incredibly motivated - watching what I ate and working on my goalkeeping and forward skills outside of club practice - to ensure that I would have a good chance to achieve my goal. Between forward and goalkeeper, I became more invested in goalkeeping and started to hone my skills, as well as keep a steady head with my field play and touch. Throughout the recent COVID-19 quarantine, I spent hours everyday at the field working out and practicing my skills and goalkeeping.
Not only do I push myself during soccer, but also with academics and orchestra as well. I aim to keep high A’s throughout the year and play with one of my school's top orchestras as Assistant Principal cellist. Academics, soccer, and cello are important to me, and I will continue to work hard to excel at them. I will apply that work ethic and drive to my college career, also.
