I am a 5’3 defensive player from Houston, Texas. My goal is to play soccer in college while I earn a degree in Electrical Engineering and a minor in Physics. I love math and science and want to pursue them in the future as a career.
I have been playing soccer for 11 years and fell in love with the sport immediately. I have played center back for 8 years on my DA and GA2 club teams. Although I may be on the shorter side, I am fiercely aggressive and head the ball well. I also have extensive experience playing outside back and holding midfield. I am naturally right footed but play very well with my left foot. I was the starting left back for the Taylor High School (6A) varsity team my freshman and sophomore year. I moved schools my junior year and am a starter at Morton Ranch High School (6A). I am currently playing center back and holding midfield for my school and club teams.
My dad has a company, Germany Youth Tours. I have played with the teams for several years and really admire their style of play. While in Germany, I noticed how the country values renewable energy. This inspired me to research electrical engineering, which I have discovered is something that I would like to pursue as a career.
I am a very dynamic, aggressive player and I try to lead my team to success with encouragement. I am a driven athlete. I value input and believe that being coachable is necessary for the success of the team. I set myself to a higher standard so that I can continue to improve. I believe that everything we do on the field translates into becoming a successful adult and employee in the future.
My ideal athletic environment would be one where I could make an immediate impact on the team.
