Evelyn, white jer...Personal Statement
Since starting soccer at age nine, it has been a form of consistency and personal challenge in my life. Every change growing up was grounded with the beauty of the sport and the strive to improve myself. As time goes on, I have aspired to pursue soccer at a collegiate level.
I have an aggressive play as a defender, directly challenge my opponents, and can apply pressure well. I bring a respectful attitude to my coach, and a positive energy to our team.
Regarding academics, I am focused and strive to maintain a high GPA, as well as progress my skills in areas of my extracurricular activities, such as PALS (Peer Assistance and Leadership program). I am passionate about improving the lives of those around me, and seek volunteer opportunities and youth mentoring as often as possible.
I would be honored by the opportunity to bring my skill set to any college that may be interested in pursuing my abilities, and I hope to continue to grow my skills and mindset both on the field and in the classroom.
