Nadia Merino '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my  name is Nadia Merino, I am a senior in New Caney high school and playing soccer for a college is a big goal of mine. Since I was six years old , I always dreamed of playing soccer college and I want to make that dream into a reality. I currently play for the Kingwood Houston dash GA2 and New Caney High school varsity team. I just moved to New Caney from Livingston Tx, and I played for the Livingston highschool soccer team on varsity since freshman year.  Both freshman and junior year I got 1st team all district.  Junior year, my team made it to playoffs in the 2nd round. In round one , we were tied 1-1 and in the last minute of the game, I  made a goal which caused us to move on and although we had lost the second round 1-2 , I  made a goal first half which caused us to tie up with the other team.  My life goal is to become the USA Men’s soccer team head coach ,but I’m going to build myself up there by coaching high school and clubs teams after I graduate college. I am looking for a college to help me reach my goal.
