Ever since I was little, I dedicated myself in academics and in athletics. I believe they should be an equal balance in my life. My parents pushed me to be the best that I can be and I thank them for building my determination. I aspire to play collegiate soccer because it's a part of who I am. I love every aspect of the game and how it's taught me to work hard for my goals. I also aspire to achieve my dream of being a doctor by majoring in the Pre-Med program. I'm different from other recruits because I've had to break through many cultural barriers to pursue my passion for soccer. Growing up not all of my Indian family approved of me playing soccer, especially since I'm a girl. However, with plenty of perseverance, my parents and I proved to them soccer means everything to me and the amount of work I'll dedicate to play at the collegiate level.
