I can’t remember life without soccer being a part. Both my older sisters play and my parents learned to love the game because we did.
On both my club and high school team, my primary positions are the 8, 6 and 10. I also have been asked to play the center back and outside midfielder. I have even been asked to be the striker a few times. I believe I am best in the midfield. I am always happy to play any position that is asked of me, to the best of my ability. When given the opportunity to play different positions, it only makes me better. I have a better understanding of what my teammates are doing on the field, which gives me the opportunity to grow in my own position. I consider myself confident on the field but also am not afraid to ask questions or receive criticism from my coaches to make me a better player.
I also take my schoolwork very seriously. I currently take all honors class and will begin taking AP/DC courses as a sophomore. I have been able to maintain a 4.0 while keeping a busy schedule.
I work hard and hold myself to a high standard and know I can offer a lot at the college level, playing the sport I love most.
