Alyssa Striker '23 Recruiting Profile

I envision myself going into a career in Sports Medicine. My goals in high school and college are to the best athlete and student I can be. When it comes to soccer, I enjoy being the play maker.  The person who gets the game moving. Through playing soccer I have learned how to handle pressure and stress in tough moments; such as starting in a championship game, having to work hard to make a comeback after being down a goal at half time, or even just needing to be a helpful player when the team isn't at their best.  I really want to play college soccer so I can get an opportunity to play under a different coaching style.  I am most excited to play because I will be playing with teammates that I have never played with before and have the same goals/interests. I am looking for a college that will teach me how to balance sports and education while teaching me life lessons.   I am also looking for a college that has traditions that I can be a part of.
