Emma Pay '13 Recruiting Profile

I fell in love with the game of soccer as a little girl and have been playing it ever since. I just finished my senior season of high school soccer at Karl G Maeser Preparatory Academy, losing in a very close match for the semifinals of the state tournament. I will be playing futsal during the winter months to maintain and improve my skills. In a few months I will be starting the spring season of soccer with my club team la roca (www.larocafc.com). I also played with the club team UCFC Force for several years and played at Timpanogos High school during my sophomore year. I am most often a defensive player, but I also play midfield and striker at times. One of my greatest strengths is speed, and I love to run! This year I competed with the cross country team at my school and was the second best female runner on the team. I will also be running track this year at my school. I would love to play soccer in college to improve my skills at a new level of competition while also pursuing my educational interests.
