Since I was little I knew that I wanted to go to college. Once I grew to love soccer, more and more I realized that if I was going to go to college I would play soccer while I was there. This way I could continue to play the sport that I love, gain a better education, make new friends, and become like the heroes I grew up watching at the colleges!
I have been playing soccer since I was 4 years old and since then I have always been trying to improve and have grown to love the sport. When I was 8 I became interested in the Keeper position. By the time I was 9 I was training with Brandon Gilliam, Keeper Trainer for the Brigham Young University men's team, and now Head Coach. To this day I still work with Brandon making about 7 years of training with him. I have also had other personal trainers along the way. I was also trained by Josh Patino (now Head coach at Southern Virginia University) and others coaches who have improved my touch and ball skills outside of the goal box.
I have always tried to do my best in school I study hard, get my homework in on time, and get good grades. For me if its not an A Its not good enough. My plan is that by my senior year I will have taken several AP classes and done very well on the ACT.
Character wise people have told me I am nice, responsible, and can be a very take charge person. I am also fairly shy, but I do eventually open up to people and create great friendships that are strong and lasting. Although I am shy, on the field I put that aside so that I can be a strong keeper who can direct her team and make a difference in the game.
