Audrey Hemingway '21 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals are to play soccer in college, meet many new people, and work hard to learn everything I can throughout college. I would make a great candidate for your college team because I am easy to get along with, optimistic and supportive, and able to take criticism. I believe that criticism is not to make a player feel bad about themselves, but instead improve their skill and play. What makes me different from other recruits is how hardworking I am in everything I do. I live by a saying an old coach used to say which is "Toss your hat over the wall." The saying means if you love your hat, you will do anything to climb over the wall to get it back. I always think about this quote when I have a trial, and I always end up climbing the wall to retrieve my "hat".
