Hi, I'm Leeann Williams
I've been playing soccer since third grade and started out playing keeper. I'm currently a junior at Hockinson High School, and a multi-sport athlete playing both soccer and softball. I am also currently an Explorer with the Clark County Sheriff's Office (Explorer Post #893).
My commitment to the sport of soccer has been for nine years, through all of which I have played keeper. I have played recreation for four years, Van City Soccer Club (Tango) for four years, overlapping one year with AYSO (Valor) for two years. Throughout all nine years of playing soccer, I have played keeper. My recent accomplishments through my junior year in high school have been seven varsity games in total breaking down to: five varsity league games, one varsity district game, as well as half of a varsity state game (3 wins, 4 loses). Not including JV saves, I have a varsity record of 65 saves as of 11/13/24. My biggest mental and physical challenge this year was in the district game I played. Within the first ten minutes of the game, I had a collision with an opposing player and ended up playing the rest of the game with a dead leg; I ended that game with 14 saves. Moving ahead, I will play club soccer and continue to learn and grow as a keeper, through any mental or physical challenges.
As a Clark County Explorer I have had the opportunity to learn and observe the criminal justice system and serve the community through a wide variety of functions. I have also attended WLEEA Academy, August 2024, and December 2024. I was honored to have received the Academy Commanders Coin and Platoon Captain pin in December 2024.
