My name is Meggie Harris and I am a soccer player from Snohomish Washington. I have played soccer for Henry M. Jackson High School Varsity team for the past three years and will be playing for my senior year in the fall of 2011-2012. My freshman year I was given an award for Most Valuable First Time Player and that same year the team placed fourth in State. In the ending season of my sophomore year I got in a collision with a keeper during a game and broke my left shin. But, this did not stop me from playing my junior year. I am currently playing for North West Nationals for Scott Newman for my second year on his team. I currently am 5'6" and weigh 115 pounds. I believe commitment, teamwork and giving 110% off and on the field to your team is very important. I have qualities that show I have commitment to any team I am on, I show teamwork with whoever I play with and I give 110% on and off the field no matter what. I show my commitment to my team now and I am ready to show the same for my university. I know I am starting this recruiting process a little late, but it's my goal and dream to play college ball. I am open to look at opportunities at all divisions and I would not mind staying in state or going out of state for my education. I am looking for a college in which I can focus on my education but also show my team commitment. I have played for many select soccer clubs ever since the first year I was able to sign up and I have never stopped loving the sport. My goal is to play my freshman year and I am ready to work for that to come true and give it my all. I hope to play the highest level of competition I can. I do not want to stop playing for as long as possible, soccer is my passion.
