My name is Isabel Cleofe and I'm a junior at Juanita High School in Kirkland, Washington.
I'm a natural left-footed forward/midfielder with a strong commitment to always improve. I'm versatile with playmaking abilities, persistence on the ball, and the willpower to lift up my teammates. I'm always working to develop as a player by going to strength/conditioning and technical training sessions.
My journey has been anything but conventional. At the start of high school, I realized I wanted to play soccer at the collegiate and professional level and started taking the steps necessary to move up the ranks from recreational to Select to Premier. In my freshman year, I was still playing recreational soccer leading my team to the District 2 Championship and State semi-finals in the Washington State Recreational Cup while also playing high school soccer. In the last two years, I've played for Crossfire Select 00 Gold, Greater Seattle Surf 01C, Greater Seattle Surf 99B, Crossfire Premier 01A coached by Justina MacDowell, and my current team Crossfire Premier G00 A coached by Bree Rowe.
I love English and science. My previous soccer coaches and teachers in the STEM Global Health program at Juanita have helped me discover my calling to help others and make the world a better place. I’m interested in the following majors: Sports Medicine, Kinesiology, Global Health, and Nutrition. A vast majority of chronic diseases are preventable. I hope to use my education to become a leader by influencing people to adopt a healthier lifestyle and eliminate the suffering associated with these preventable diseases.
