I constantly work to improve - Speed, Agility, Strength and Durability. I believe I am a coachable player. I enjoy playing the game and I look forward to practicing and playing each day. My club coach, Anwar Wilson, has helped me improve my soccer IQ dramatically over the last couple of years. He will continue to be my club coach. I have a strong academic transcript, along with two varsity sports at the 4A level in Washington. I was team captain this year and built relationships with friends/teammates to create a positive team environment where teammates play above their perceived abilities. Speed is my strongest asset. I have made it to the 4A League Finals in the 100 and 200. My 4X100 and 4X200 relay team has placed top 6 in League qualifying for the the Western Washington 4A District meet twice. We continue to improve our times and hope to make it to the 4A State Finals. My speed allows me to create scoring opportunities by working the ball into the attacking third and into the prime area or the second six to create scoring opportunities. Track has set a strong foundation from which to improve my speed and agility further. In tough matches, I'm often asked to play defense in order to stop our opponents offensive push. I mainly play 7 or 11, but my coach saw me as an asset in defense in addition to this, so I play 2 or 3 when it benefits the team. I also referee soccer which provides another opportunity to improve my knowledge of the game - and make some money too. |
