Hi Im Sarah Ringland and I’m class of 2024. I go to Gonzaga Prep High School. I have wanted to play collegiate level soccer since I was a little girl. I started soccer when I was 5 and instantly fell in love. Soccer has been my number one my whole life and something I can always depend on. I’ve been through the ups and downs of soccer from getting injured to not making the team I hoped for but, I've always kept working because of my love for the sport. Gonzaga Prep is one of the most competitive High Schools in Eastern Washington for athletics and for academics. I’m currently enrolled in 2 honors classes as a Junior, With one class being anatomy and physiology and the other class being Spanish year 4. I also competed in pole vaulting at my school. Two years ago I placed 7th in the district as a freshmen and last year I didn't compete due to an injury. Something that has guided me is growing up in a household of faith especially christian. Growing up I was always taught to be respectful and be kind to everyone. The most important thing that I was taught growing up was, you have to work for what you want and you will only be as good as you let yourself be. I hope to play at a college that can help me grow to be a better person and a better soccer player.
