Personal Statement

Hello coaches,

My name is Sophia Rubano and I am a high-level competitive soccer player. I am a 2023 graduate with a 4.0 GPA. I play for Thorns Academy ECNL in Portland, Oregon. I am also a United Soccer Coaches Youth All -American. I strive to be the best I can, not only physically and mentally, but also as a person. Soccer has been in my life for as long as I can remember (10+ years). It has opened up so many opportunities for me and I am beyond excited for what lies in the future. I am always ready to accept a challenge and find fulfillment in working hard.
