Soccer has been part of my life for as long as I can remember, since I was four years old to be exact. I found a passion for the sport and it helped me through many tasks ion my life. The sport gives me a place to forget about external situations in my life and just focus on the task at hand. Soccer is my safe house and has helped me through stressful and difficult times throughout my life. When I am at soccer I strive to make each practice better than the last which has helped teach me persistence and work ethic. My favorite memory of soccer is playing in Las Vegas at the Mayor Cup, the largest international college showcase tournament in the United States. We played in the championship game, but lost in an overtime shoot out.
One interesting skill about my playing style is that I am ambidextrous making me able to use both feel with equal capability. Another skill my coaches like to exploit, is the speed and stamina I bring to the field. I often play entire 90 minute games with minimal breaks and my speed can be seen in the videos I have uploaded. To improve my soccer skills on the field, both speed and stamina, I have joined my high school’s power lifting team during the off season. I also play indoor soccer to keep my endurance and get touches on the ball.
Outside of soccer I have academic achievements I am working toward accomplishing. Such as maintaining a 4.0 for the remainder of high school. As for college, I would like to attend a university with a strong academic association as well as a competitive soccer program.
