Hi Coach,
Here is just a little bit about me. I am a pretty good student in my studies and on the field and I try to make every practice count for something. I've been playing since I was six, I bring a great attitude, foot skills, speed and good field vision to the game, at least that's what coaches have told me. I have been blessed to be part of several outstanding club teams and HS teams and my team mates some who I've been with for many years, always stay connected. My goal is to make an immediate impact with whatever I do, whether I start or play only 10 minutes, to play the very best that I can during every opportunity.
I played club MRL my HS freshman year opting to pass as a starting Varsity freshman. As a sophomore I decided to play HS soccer with my older sister Sarah so we could play together at least once and that was real fun, I lead the conference in assists and played mostly holding midfield and some attacking mid. I was honored to be elected team captain at the end of the season. For club, I joined the Illinois Eclipse Select Soccer Club ECNL in Oak Brook, IL in 2017, I was excited to play again my last year of club with a fun group. I learned to drive in Chicago traffic during rush hour too! I train where I can get open facilities and time during the summer with strength trainer David Mariani. In the off season winter I play futsal games or indoor 7v7 with some of my former MRL team and club coach Janet Albert against college girls, coed, and boys teams keeping it fun. A couple of my futsal team mates are on the U-17 US national team and other top club teams in Illinois, I am so proud of all of them, we have had so much success.
I went to UNC camp in summer 2016 and trained with Anson Dorrance and his staff, what a great experience it was just being there! 2017 summer I trained with some of the greatest players in the world who made soccer what it is, Mia Hamm, Christine Lilly, and Dawn Crow all champions. I think soccer is more than just the training and games, it means allot to me to meet and connect the people of the game, it inspires me to be confident in myself. I love being in a college atmosphere, visiting an tryouts and cannot wait until I finally choose a great school to play for. I want to play at a school that wants me as much as I want it, where great tradition, quality coaching and players come together for a great experience. Most of all I really want to get the full college experience and the opportunity it learn and earn a solid degree.
I love country music and hanging with my sisters and friends when not training. I have two sisters both older, Sarah plays soccer for Monmouth College, Monmouth IL and My oldest sister Jennie has graduated from UW Parkside.
Thank you for reading my profile and spending a few minutes getting to know me. Check out my highlight videos or give me a call.
Best regards,
