Mae Yang '27 Recruiting Profile

As a proud member of the Class of 2027, I have dedicated myself to excelling both on and off the soccer field. Earning a starting position on my high school’s Varsity team for the past two years has pushed me to develop as a leader, competitor, and teammate. In 2023, our team battled to a 2nd-place finish in the Regional Finals, a moment that fueled my determination to work harder. That commitment paid off the following year as we captured 1st place in the Regional Finals, advanced to the Sectional, and made school history by being ranked in the top 10 in the state for the first time in program history — earning the #1 seed in our region.

At the club level, I have been honored to compete with Rush Select and Rush Select National, representing my team at the Valencia Cup in Spain and receiving professional training from the Rush SPF Academy. Playing regularly in top-tier tournaments — often competing one or two age groups above my own — has tested and strengthened my technical skills, tactical awareness, and mental toughness. Winning championships at the highest level has reinforced my commitment to excellence and my belief in embracing challenges to grow as an athlete.

These experiences have shaped my resilience, sharpened my skills, and strengthened my passion for the game. I am eager to bring that same work ethic, dedication, and drive to the next level of competition in college soccer.
