When I was three years old, I watched my older sister play a soccer game. From that day on, I wanted to play soccer. In kindergarten, I finally got the opportunity to join a soccer team. I have been playing ever since.
In eighth grade, I switched club teams to play at a more competitive level. It was hard at first to be the new kid; however, I worked hard to earn the spot on the team, playing time, and the respect of my teammates. As a high school freshman, I made the varsity team, and I started several games. I am very flexible and can play multiple positions. I have experience playing attacking mid, defensive mid, outside mid, and center back.
Along with wanting to play soccer at the collegiate level, I want to continue to receive a good education. I plan to pursue a degree in architectural or civil engineering while still maintaining a healthy lifestyle with soccer in it. I love playing soccer because I can relax and have a clear mind. Especially after a long day at school, when I go to practice, I don’t worry about anything except soccer. In addition to playing soccer, I believe watching it is just as beneficial to develop your game. I try to watch soccer on the weekends when I have spare time.
