First and foremost, I obtain impressive grades from high school and at the University of Wisconsin - River Falls. In high school, I earned three academic letters from being a part of the A Honor Roll, as well as being involved in the top 20% of my senior class. In addition, I manage my coursework productively and never lack the effort to qualitatively complete it. I study on a regular basis, which propeled my GPA to increase at a faster rate. In college, most of my grades are A's and I am working on bringing my biology grade up from a B+ to an A. Because I do so well with my studies, I knew it was time to start playing soccer again now that I know I cannot be overwhelmed from my classes alone.
Before I was admitted to UWRF, I did not want my grades to decline due to playing soccer and also managing my coursework. As I progress through my freshman year, I realized that I easily manage my coursework, which is strongly propelling me to play soccer again.
Normally, I particularly play right forward, but I have also competed in other forward positions, as well as being an attacking midfielder. I have always been a team player and plan to stay one as long as I play soccer, which will be for a long time. Frequently, I received plenty of positive feedback from my high school coaches, managers, team members, as well as people watching me play in the audience stands. Many people would be amazed at how fast I can run while maintaining exquisite foot control with the ball. They say that I have incredible potential to play at a higher level of soccer.
I was also a committed member to the Western Wisconsin Honey Badgers club team. I played a forward or attacking midfield position. My club team and I competed against many challenging teams in the Woodbury, MN area. Unfortunately, we did not have very successful seasons, but that only motivated me to try harder next time. Furthermore, I constantly work to maintain my soccer abilities. I conduct footwork, run over two miles frequently, and manage to create pick-up games for extra practice. I thrive on succeeding in my workouts, as well as on the field.
I have been reaching out to Division 1 schools to potentially try out for their womens' soccer team, but have been unsuccessful due to not starting the recruitment process in high school. Although I may have fallen behind in becoming a soccer member sooner for a higher organization, that does not stop me from trying more than my best to make an impression on coaches. My mindset is to never give up, even if that seems like it is the only choice I have left.
If you acquire me for your team, you will not be disappointed. I will do everything in my power to continue to prove that I am an important asset to you and the team. I will sacrifice and dedicate my time into improving not only myself, but the improvisation of the team. I am a soccer player worthy of admission and I will do anything to prove that to you.
