Personal Statement
The highlight of my high school career so far was going 16-1-1 for the season and making school history at state during my sophomore year. I felt I grew the most during my freshman year both as a person and a player. Walking into high school and starting varsity as a freshman, I felt as though I was the best. Humbling myself was the best thing for me. I found myself creating new opportunities not only for myself but for my teammates. Being humble is what drove me to prove to myself and others I have what it takes to compete at the college level.
Joining my club team High Plains was the best opportunity I was ever given We have now won the 2019 National Cup regionals and took 3rd at the finals.
I was lucky enough to join a program full of “hard work pays off” attitude, winning regionals 3 times, two of which I was apart of. Throughout my entire soccer career, I have learned the value of teamwork, determination, sacrifice, being humble, work ethic and leadership, with or without a trophy. Academics are very important to me, as instilled by my family. I am looking for a program that will lead me to great academics that will make me successful in my careers after soccer. I believe I not only have the talent to compete and do well at the collegiate level but the work ethic, leadership and character to make a mark on your program. As a multi-sport athlete, i know what it takes to lead a team but also how to help a team, both on and off the field!
