Charlotte Carroll '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Charlotte Carroll. I am a junior at Helena High school in Alabama, but I have chosen to take dual enrollment classes through Jefferson State Community College so that I can graduate high school early. So I will be graduating in the summer of 2023. If you choose me to be on your team I can show you that I will put in whatever work it takes to be on your team. Whether its doing two practices a day, I will do it.  Swim is my passion and I want to continue on after college by coaching my own team in the future.  Some collegiate goals and aspirations that I have is to do better than what I am currently doing at my level. For example, when I switched to a different team this past year, I was doing so much better. I finally made it to Southeastern's this past short course season because I changed to a different coach who had a different type of workout that was different from my previous coach. What makes me a good candidate for your team is that I show good sportsmanship conduct in and out of the pool and I have a good attitude when it comes to something that might be difficult in a set or in a meet. What makes me different from other recruits in the pool is that I do swimming with a happy heart knowing that things might be difficult to where we had to do the set multiple times until we get it right. When it comes to academics, I know that my studies come first even though I love swimming so much, but I will prioritize my time wisely to be able to do both academics and college swimming.
