Eleanor Hauck '28 Recruiting Profile

Hello, I'm Ella Hauck. I aspire to remain on the pool deck beyond my competitive career. My love for the sport keeps me motivated every day. I want to swim for a program that makes me better in and out of the pool. Growing up in a small swimming community, with few resources. I have learned that to be successful, you have to want it more than anyone else and believe that you are just as capable. In 7th grade, I began to volunteer my time with the local Special Olympics. Helping those athletes in the pool, helped me realize how much I enjoy teaching and coaching this sport. 

Academically, I am thriving in high school. I am challenging myself with advanced placement classes and currently maintaining a 4.2 Weighted GPA.  I started swimming for my club's senior elite team in middle school. 8th grade year I became a captain and had the opportunity to navigate the leadership role on my team. This role has tested me to be a stronger leader and an overall better athlete that people want to look up to.
