Personal Statement
When my parents first put me in swim lessons, I never thought I would love the sport as much as I do nor dedicate so much time towards it, but fast forward to today where I am looking forward to continuing my swimming career in college in addition to pursuing my dream of becoming a pediatrician. As opposed to my education where I feel very fortunate to be at the top of my class, I have had to overcome obstacles in my swimming such as Covid quarantine and a knee injury. After a rough two years, I am finally excited to be back and ready to just keep swimming. Throughout those years, I remained dedicated to the sport and have worked even harder this past year to better my times.
