Emma Clay-Barbour '19 Recruiting Profile

I am currently co-captain of my swim team at Evanston Township High School in Evanston, IL, leading 80 girls through the season.  My academic strength is demonstrated by maintaining a 4.3 weighted GPA (3.8 unweighted), while taking many AP and Honors level courses.   I am looking for a Chemical Engineering program(4-year) or a strong Chemistry program that is associated with ongoing Engineering opportunities (3/2 program). When I swim, I am my best academically, physically, socially,  and emotionally.  Because of this, I am seeking a college that will give me the opportunity to swim throughout my college years.  Additionally, while my times have improved during my high school career,  I confidently believe that my swimming abilities have yet to be fully developed, and I look forward to a collegiate experience to help me untap my potential.
