Evvie Timberman '20 Recruiting Profile

The highlight of my swimming career in high school so far, has been setting the school record for the one hundred freestyle. It is a goal I have been working towards since my freshman year of high school. Swimming has been the best part of my high school experience. It is a huge stress reliever, and often the highlight of my day. It has also been a huge part of my life, since I have been in a pool since I was around two. I would like to continue swimming because of how it has influenced my life and the health benefits that go along with it.  

Along with swimming, I also participate in other extracurricular activities. I have been involved in 4-H for eight year in which I have shown horses and made stained glass pieces. I also spend a part of my summer every year volunteering at a local therapeutic riding center. When not volunteering in the summer, I am often working at a local ice cream shop. I also participate in Young Life, and spend a week in the summer at one of their many camps. I have also been periodically involved with a local swim club.
