My name is Braelyn Hack, and I am currently a sophomore at Dekalb High School. Swimming has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I began swimming at the age of five, and from the first time I dove into the pool I knew swim was my sport. As I’ve grown swimming has shaped me not only as an athlete but as a person. It has taught me discipline and the power of teamwork. My goal is to continue my journey and compete at the highest level, specifically by earning a spot on a Division 1 college swim team. This drives me every day in the pool, during training, and in my academic life. With swim it helps me push to get good grades, so I’m able to swim and show my talent. I understand that the path to D1 swimming is competitive, but I am determined to push myself constantly in the pool and in the classroom. Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile, and I hope to hear from you soon!
