My name is Elisabeth Sabroe Ebbesen. I’m 19 years old and currently on my final year of high school at Øregård Gymnasium in Copenhagen, Denmark. Furthermore, I’m a national team swimmer based in Gentofte Swim Club. I’m currently one of the best swimmers in Denmark - specializing in the sprint events both in freestyle, butterfly, backstroke and medley. I’m a three time danish champion in 50 m and 100 m freestyle (2019 and 2021). As a junior swimmer I managed to qualify for the European Youth Olympic Festival 2017, where I took home a bronze medal in 4x100 medley relay with team Denmark. I went to the European Junior Championships in 2018 and 2019, where I managed to qualify for three finals and 5 semifinals in total. Multiple times I’ve taken home the Nordic champion title in respective 50 m freestyle, 100 m freestyle, 200 m freestyle, 4x100 m freestyle, 4x200 m freestyle, 4x100 m medley and 8x50 m mixed freestyle (2017, 2018, 2019). This November represented Denmark at the European short course Championships in Kazan, Russia. I swam under the qualification cut in the 200 m individual medley with a time of 2,10,67 - which normally is the time required to qualify for the final in the 200 m individual medley at the European short course Championships. At the European short course Championships i managed to qualify for 3 semifinals in the 50 m freestyle (24,61), 100 m freestyle (53,69) and the 200 m individual medley (2,10,86). I qualified for 2 relay-finals as well - the 4x50 m mixed freestyle (24,05) and the 4x50 m mixed medley (24,24).
