Colleen Ellis '19 Recruiting Profile

I have been swimming competitively for many years. I'm familiar with various styles of coaching seeing as how I've had many coaches over these years. I've swam on the YMCA Cape Cod Makos from 2008-2016 coached by Ben VanDyke and I am currently swimming on Bens' new swim team The Cape Cod Firefish since September 2016 and intend to do so until I graduate High School in 2019. I currently attend Barnstable Highschool and compete on the Barnstable swim team. I've been on the team and have acquired a varsity letter since my 8th grade season (Barnstable high is grades 8-12) in 2015. My freshman year I was awarded with both an all star recognition in the Bay Colony Championships and a "most improved swimmer" award by my coaches. I like to swim the 50 free, 100 Free, 100 back, 200 IM, 200 Medley (freestyle leg) 200 freestyle relay, and 400 freestyle relay. I'm looking foreword to the great opportunity to continue to swim in college and I intend to make many new friends through the process.
