Anabel Szydlik '19 Recruiting Profile

I stand out on a team, in my community and in my classroom because of my passion and drive.  I love to work hard in the pool at practice, compete and finish the race by looking up at the clock and seeing my hard work has paid off with a best time.  I love to work hard in the classroom, take a test and see a high grade and the feeling of accomplishment that brings.  I volunteer on my team by helping our coach at meets with the younger swimmers. I love to cheer them on, support them and watch them grow to love the sport as I do.  These qualities are what will make me an asset to your team....my passion, my drive, my love of team and my commitment to excellence.     I have been recognized by USA Swimming as a Top 10 Swimmer in New England for 2 consecutive years, 2014 and 2015.  I only became a member of USA Swimming in 2013 when I made the transition from recreational YMCA swimming.  Recruit me and you will recruit a great athlete, student and leader with so much potential to grow as a competitive athlete and leader within your college community.
